Interserve has been working with the Trust at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary for over six years, delivering a range of Capital schemes.

Following the successful delivery of a 34-bed separate male and female urology inpatient wards and a new 19-bed surgical assessment unit under the ProCure21 Framework, Interserve has completed over 50 refurbishment and redevelopment projects for the Trust.

Projects include the refurbishment of gynaecology scrub-up room, new facilities to ultrasound area, new CT scanner room, control room, changing and injection facility and refurbishment of dental x-ray room.

Achievements

The team has successfully completed a number of ward refurbishments, achieving high standards, quality and maintaining the Trust's operations throughout, whilst improving on programme each time.

Through use of 'lessons learnt' on previous ward refurbishments with the Trust, the team now understands the risks and issues that may affect the project and can effectively manage the risk out.

This has resulted in each ward refurbishment being completed with quick agreement of the guaranteed maximum price.
