The contract
Our associate company, Khansaheb, was the first contractor in Dubai investment park and was awarded Phase 1 Earthwork contract in October 1998, which consisted of an area of 3.1 million sq m earthworks.
Phase 2 Development comprised of earthworks with an area of 1.95 million sq m including the complete infrastructure comprising of 11.50km of roads, sewerage, irrigation, telecommunication network and road crossing ducts for electricity, water and road lighting.
Phase 3 was again comprised of the complete infrastructure works in an area of 3.8 million sq m including 16km of roads with sewerage, irrigation, lift stations, telecommunication network and associated works for electricity, water and road lighting.
Phase 4 comprised of 27km of roads with sewerage, irrigation, telecommunication network and road crossings for electricity, water and road lighting.
After the successful completion of the above phases, Phase 5 was awarded to us in January 2006. This infrastructure works is spread over an area of 7.1 million sq m and includes 31km of roads with 40km sewer line, 38km irrigation, 74 km telecommunication network, 71.5km of potable water network, 26km of electrical ducts and 11km of road lighting ducts.
