Provision of customised bicycle
A new approach to transport has been taken since Jan Langrand, one of Interserve’s Facilities Caretakers on our Foreign and Commonwealth contract in Amsterdam, suggested to his line manager that instead of driving a van to do his work around the city, Interserve should invest in a workman’s bike to save time and money.
Real-time, online energy displays
This work was delivered by Interserve to meet Defra's commitment to the government's mandate to publish online real-time, energy use data for all governmental department headquarters.

Sustainable Urban Drainage System
To expedite the co-location of the RAF two Command Headquarters at RAF High Wycombe, PriDE, a joint venture between Interserve and Southern Electric Contracting, undertook the necessary works to create the required facilities.

When Interserve’s Interiors wing in Dorset was relocated from Southbourne to Christchurch, a two-floor office complex and 40,000 sq ft factory facility, we grasped the opportunity to not only invest in new machinery to aid efficiency in production but also to consider wider aspects of sustainability.

Interserve delivered the new £6 million single-storey Dartington Primary school under the Devon County Council Framework. The aim was to design and build the first zero carbon school in UK.
