Policies

It is important that individuals throughout Interserve’s operations retain a set of core values and approaches to the process of conducting business. The Group's reputation and the trust and confidence of those with whom it deals are among its most vital resources. The protection of these is of fundamental importance and is championed by Adrian Ringrose, Chief Executive.

We demand and maintain high ethical standards in carrying out our business activities. We tolerate no form of corrupt practice and consider harassment of any employee for any reason to be unacceptable.

We regularly review our policies to take account of developments in legislative and business environments. During 2010 we published a new Business Practices policy titled “Conducting business with Interserve”. This goes further than the Ethics policy which it replaces and everyone in Interserve has a responsibility to uphold the principles described in the policy. Its importance is underlined by the fact that performance appraisal systems throughout the Group are being adapted to include an assessment of behaviour in line with the policy.
